So I need help identifying this chain design... I forgot which one this is... Im pretty sure its a persian 4-1. I tried to find links online, but cant find this actual style. I did this instead of a byzantine, cause the byzantine keeps falling apart... I think its the link size.

Woot! I was able to sleep through the night and not have to get up every 2 hours to piss like a horse. No kidding since the surgery, I have pissed 1 - 1 1/2 gallons of urine a day. At first I had a cathader so I didnt really notice, but when you have to piss in a bucket 10+ times a day, it can get pretty tiresome. Anyway, hopefully thats done now (it apparently comes with brain surgery...)

Taly and I are still on tract to come home on tuesday, where we might actually get some questions answered. Until then, im a lemming and I just go where they tell me.

So I was discharged from the hospital this morning... Im staying with Taly in the fisher house (place for families of wounded warriors) Its nice. If everything goes well on monday, we should be flying to San Diego on Tuesday. cross your fingers......

No more IV's! today they pulled the last IV out of my arm in preperation for discharging me in the morning. I will still have to be in Germany for a couple days (ensure the patch holding my brain in stays) but this means I might get to fly to Cali nonstop rather than staying on the east coast for a week or so.

Another good thing is we might actually get to see a castle in Germany. There is one just down the road, so if im an outpatient, we can take a cab there. Should be fun.

Wow, so I guess I should start by letting everyone know im okay. The doctor was able to stop the fluid from draining out of my nose (more on that later). Taly and my parents have been here all week to give me moral support through the recovery. Im now out of ICU (longest patient they have ever had in ICU here) and into a normal hospital bed.

I should be flying to America (hopefully commercial with Taly) in a week or so. My parents are flying out in the morning (Danny expect an email from dad and a phone call sometime.)

Right now the only thing I have is a broken nose a couple puncture points and headache when I sit/stand up too long. Im able to walk around the hospital freely, so im working hard to be able to increase my endurance. But things are progressing well, just slowly.

Thank you to everyone who worried about me and found inventive ways to let Taly know I was in trouble. It really means alot. I dont know where im going from here or how long I will be at each place, but I will try to see you guys asap.

I have been taught a very important lesson these past 5 days. Basically, having a cold + 120 temperature + working 16hrs = A very very sick randy.

It took 5 days in order for me to feel good enough to actually log in and type... And trust me, with this tunnel vision, its not easy. Everything is blury kinda like watching a porn you didnt pay for.

Anyway, im doing better now, I have to get some blood work done in the morning and then I should be back to work. Its sad that im really happy about getting to go back to work.

On another note to those of you who suffer from migranes... I feel for you. I have never experienced that much pain, that quickly or for that long. Seriously. pain.

Well things are going good here, just started training and all that jazz. I need to recharge my cellphone, I used more minutes trying to connect the internet than I did talking to family, but its nice to have until my computer gets here from the states... Maybe by then I can get the internet up to 100%.

Tell you what though, im in the wrong business, were paying $1400 per month for internet that we get at the ranch for $100... Seriously. Biggest problem is that I have to split that signal for all my subscribers. You would not believe how quick these people forget that eventhough they are paying me, im a volunteer, the money they give me goes straight to the ISP. I seriously have people who only talk to me now about how the internet is too slow or that they are locked out.... Nope they dont want to know how my day is going or if I look like shit because I was sick all night and people still woke me up... I say all this happy because im not getting shot at, unlike some of the people I trained with in Indiana. They arent were I am, dont worry im still safe behind a concrete wall and hundreds of miles away from the bad shit you see on the news... Infact, if we do our job right, you wont see us on the news at all. :P

Anyway, I need a shower and to get some sleep.. YAY for not being sick anymore!

So anyways, Im in Farah Afganistan now. Things are going well, and the weather here isnt too bad. It really is true that after it reaches 100+ the rest of the heat doesnt seam any worse.

Im working on some things and should be able get people some cool stuff as I leave here next year. Later on, I will make a post for requests.

So here we go again.. I have managed to "upset" another person. So here is the story:

Im in a hurry to get to our command center because there is some equipment down. I have to stop at a gate house, show my ID to get in. For the past 6 weeks, I have simply pointed to my name in the book as I showed my ID, making it easier for the "guard" to find my name. This time, NOOOOOOO the guard gets all pissy about me touching the book and telling him where to turn. When I shrug him off, he tells me he is going to call his commander.... (like I care)

Sure enough ten minutes later, a Chief and First Sergeant come nocking on my door... Eddington can we talk to you outside? Not wanting to give them the upperhand, I tell them im busy guarding a netline and cant step away. So they ask me why I was "rude" to thier guard? Really, thats your complaint im rude? Come on, I realize that by showing him in the book where my name was Im taking away what little control he might/might not have... But seriously the last 3 dozen or so people have found it helpfull and friendly. So I say again why are soo many people in the military pussies?

So we got to stay in well not tents, more like a big open bay building that was part galley/ part berthing... We stayed there because we were out on a gun range until 3am and then had to be back out on the same range at 8am. It was fun though. The bad part, this morning after leaving the range at 3 we had to be up at 6am to clean up and do a convoy run through "enemy territory", and didnt get finished till about 7pm. But again, it was really fun. Im just really exhausted. Cant wait to finally talk to Taly, phone service sucked on the range.

13 days.

I have arrived safely in Indiana. The base is small but not bad, I found an internet connection nearby and should be able to post regularly. No facebook or myspace though, only LJ. Skype and yahoo seam to work aswell, but not aim... go figure.

Training starts in the morning, so I wont be very active.
